A Lecture On Form, Miscarriage Poem by Deborah Cox

A Lecture On Form, Miscarriage

Formlessness is emptiness

for words are made of matter:

the unmeshed net of a un-made bed

collapsing indigos to red,

mere placings of a letter.

Yet focus on the form itself

and it all just falls apart:

the form becomes an emptiness

and the emptiness an art.
