A Lazy Worker And A Firing Boss. Poem by U Win Kyi

A Lazy Worker And A Firing Boss.

The sun scorched,
the day was too hot.
For working I said 'not '.
Then I was fired by the boss.

So heavy was falling snow,
keeping the temperature very low,
the day was too cold.
For working I said 'no'.
Then I was fired after a harsh scold.

My stomach was too empty and hungry.
So eating was my 1st priority.
After eating my stomach too full,
then I felt sleepy and going to bed was my rule.
By deadline, my work I couldn't finish.
Then I was fired after severely barked like a thunder blitz.

The time was too early,
making me feel so lazy.
The time was too late,
but it didn't make me haste.
I just postponed my work to a later date.
All my work lagged far behind.
Then I was fired with a heavy fine.

Too hot, too cold, too hungry, too full, too early and too late
are the excuses a lazy worker always makes
but these are the things the boss can't tolerate.
