A Language Barrier Poem by Michael Fischer

A Language Barrier

Rating: 5.0

An animal approached me
and tried to say something...
I didn't speak his tongue,
so I couldn't respond.

Loneliness beset him,
like a flame in the dark.
It occurred to me then;
I'm exactly like him!

Sounds like one of those two legged animals! Super poem Michael.

Very good, Micheal. It has so much social commentary for such a small piece. Yet proving, it is not the size that counts.
