A Hint Of Jasmine Poem by Suzanne Andersson

A Hint Of Jasmine

What joy to have the five senses
Smell, taste, sight, hearing and touch

A hint of Jasmine; upon a warm summer's night
Roses blooming; scented candles; what delight!
A sense of smell; so precious; well
A sense of accomplishment to tell
Of sight; seeing colours through
Rose coloured glasses; maybe so
I do prefer to see the good in all!
To hear a tiny bird singing in a tree
What a blessing to feel so pure and free
Or to touch the softness of a baby's cheek
To feel God's love; this is what I seek!
Then what about our feelings?
Love provides the best kind of healing!
Taste presents a pleasure to be sure
Eat well; love well; live well!
Let peace endure!
