Once thee was a bird
who was lauded by all;
she had a body and face quite small
she was so innocent and loved by all.

Paul was wicked everybody knew
doing his mischeives he always flew;
everyone in village abhorred him badly
but being her neighbor she tolerated him sadly.

Birdie was not very very rich
but everyone believed she can never ditch;
she use to collect the woods and all
then she trade them near a mall.

For such fiendish world
she was too kind;
with those little pennies
she feed a blind.

Whenever she used to glance at Paul
there was something that attracted her to Paul;
one day she was feeling so sad
looking at Paul she suddenly felt glad.

At that very moment
she realized it then;
and decided to approach
with a gift of pen.

He was sitting there in his house
he glanced at her lying on the couch;
hesitating a little she said it to Paul
not realizing the truth like an innocent doll.

He mused for a second and then spoke out
advising her not to be loud;
then they planned to run away together
asking for jewelleries and money for further.

For five working weeks
she worked so hard;
making herself look freaky and haggard
still she was ready to cut herself apart.

She was such a fool
to love him from her heart;
that she didn't even realize
that could break her apart.

Then the day came and she stood
she somehow managed to look so good;
got herself wet, as it was raining
now she was not feeling amazing.

Then Paul said something
which broke her heart;
he said what kind a lover are you?
can't even bother a rose or two?

With her money he was planning to run
away to some village and have fun;
she ran with tears to buy him roses
but she had no money to buy any roses.

In the mid way she met her friends
they unveiled the truth of how he pretends;
a feeling of shock left her in dismay
dead inside she continued her way.

Then there was a knock
on the Paul's door;
a gift was there named
'from the heart's core'.

The moment he opened that lovely gift
on glancing inside he felt so rift;
she gifted him her heart and died quite wise
finally left away with a dream in her eyes.
