The day, started out slow,
It did pick up though…
Cause we were talking,
we were walking,
and hanging around.
We were pacing,
we were racing,
and my heart you had found.

And when the night, came to it’s end,
I knew I had found, a better friend.

What a happy day.
You couldn’t walk away.
We were stuck together,
feeling forever.
But the night ended all too soon.
What a happy day.
I couldn’t turn away.
Our eyes crossed,
and our hearts stopped.
And I knew, what I had found in you.

Now the days have gone by,
and you still look me in the eye…
Cause you’re something else,
I’m not myself,
and I think that’s good.
It’s hard to breathe,
when you’re next to me,
cause look so good.

And I remember that night, and how it came to an end,
and I knew I had found, more than just another friend.

What a happy day.
