Waking up to this fresh morning
Thanking the Lord no cry of mourning
That dangerous sojourn through the night
You stood there a shield against any fight

Your might spread easing out my fright
Even when darkness tested my acquired light
You illuminated my path till the morning
Firm was your fist crushing and the blow yawning

Residing in my body is a grateful heart
To Your praise and glory I made up an art
Abide with me I shall stay by Your fact
Day after day I shall rise giving praise intact
