A Gloomy Day Poem by Juan Olivarez

A Gloomy Day

Dark clouds fill the sky,
It's a sad and gloomy day.
The wind and the rain, starting to fly,
The sun can't spare one single ray.
He doesn't want to join the fray.

Depressed and saddened, as I lay,
Looking out my window at the clouds rolling by,
It's been like this for so many days,
All I can do is lay down and sigh.
If I were a child, I'd even cry.

Rain go away to someone that needs,
Your life giving energy somewhere far aways.
Go where they've planted, where there are seeds,
Laying on the ground, in some distant place.
I need to see if the sun has a face.

Really influential in many respects... Though simple words are used, they have been provided with a different aura and they are reflected in another atmosphere. I congratulate you on that wonderful poem...
