A Giant Towered Over Me. Poem by alan brown

A Giant Towered Over Me.

Rating: 5.0

A man stood in the distance
with a sword tight in his hand
Was this the ending of my life
or a chance for me to defend

He strode towards me questionably
so evil in his demise
But I still couldn't believe what was happening
before my seeing eyes.

His sword he swung above his head
with ancient fire in his eyes
And as he started to approach me
My body did capsize

I fell down upon the cold stone floor
with fear in my heart
As the giant towered over me
with anger to depart.

I knew not why
or how or when
But the evil in my eyes
shot out a bolt of lightning
and hit the man between the thighs

He staggered left he staggered right
until he lost his foot
Then fell down into the fires of hell
and ended up as soot.

So if you intend to hurt someone
take heed in what you do
And don't go attacking strangers
as they might turn back on you.
