Well, samanyan, throughout poetic history, some of the finest poetry was written by drunken poets! I could name many, for example, whose best work was done when they were thoroughly drunk, especially our more modern poets. But the older,18th & 19th century poets were much the same. Nothing wrong with enjoying a drink or two, and doing so in your home certainly prevents you from driving under the influence or being apprehended by the police. Of course, the most famous drunken American poet would have to be the great Edgar Allan Poe, who actually died from acute alcohol poisoning at the age of 40! Great write, so long as you don't suffer from the hangover afterwards! Carl.
