POEM: A dream I had in my dream

In my dream, I dreamed……………….

I saw the sun
With a quill in hand
Signing His signature
On the frozen brow of Darkness
And sentencing him
To eternal gaole

I saw the ribbons
Of the Darkness
Totting sans legs
Onto the isle
And frowningly frowning
At curtains on the isle door.

I saw freedom floating
On the breath
Of multitudes
Freedom! Freedom! !

I saw I
I saw you
I saw us
Not taste the stone soup amore

I saw I
I saw us
Take daily capsules of joy
Of hope!

………my dream suffocated
