'Morning sun
now shines in my skin
A dream from last night
still lingers in my mind

I try to remember
all the things that you said
But the sweet words you told me
seem to quickly fade away

The images are not clear
but the feelings remain
Feelings and memories
of our time together
in another time and place

How many memories
of our heaven on earth!
How many memories
of simple happy moments
that were my guiding light
even in the darkest times

The sun in the morning
takes the dream away
of the love we once shared
A love so pure, true and beautiful
and it will forever give me strength

The dream may have passed
and now it's a new day
I free myself now
to live and to enjoy the bright sunshine

Our dream was once true
Even though the light of destiny drove us apart
Our dream was so wonderful
that it will forever live in my soul and my heart

I am living a new day
And I'm happy I can finally understand
How enjoying each day in peace can feel

In this new day
I still remember our dream
and having the memories of you
shining brightly in my heart
give me the strength to go on
and it's always bringing me smiles

But I'll always hope that one night
in a dream you'll come back
and destiny will bring us together
