A Dream Poem by John Henry Gillin

A Dream

Wish a wish, I wish I might
Might I wish, wish I might
What to Wish - I can not say
Did I wish, you should know.

Will you wish, wish you might
wish for me I'll be there tonight.

Now I dream of the wish
A wish I wished. A dream to dream
Did you dream of my wish
I wish you might.

If I dreamed of that wish
You to dream of my wish
Then I know my wish came true.

I know you know of my wish
But my wish is for you to dream a dream
The wish I wished - you know
The dream I'll Dream tonight.

Did you dream - I don't know
Did you wish, I hoped you might
Dream a dream, I wished you might.
