A Destination In The Language Of Eyes Poem by Soumili Karmakar

A Destination In The Language Of Eyes

The white shades of ceilings and two inclined hearts
The clouds in the night sky with our stars
Forever searching for your's eyes in a world that kept immortal souls
Outliving old age and recollecting goodness in every clay moulding life as mornings living in gold.

We colored the whites with our everlasting tales,
We aligned our hands and reckoned our breathing days.
And whenever we came across the main,
Our valley gazed at the sky,
Must say darkness wasn't in vain as the moon was beautiful that night.
Woods in love with fireflies that only remained.
Is this all that will she ever know, attached to moonlight before forthcoming years shall grow?
One day we found the half moon in May,
He stood and thanked our sun for brightening up his countenance where stars sang to him every day.

The castle of our little princess beside the woods is heaven,
We ran till morning wishing to reach our path
Where goodbyes were driven apart.
Leaves that have fallen with desire to draw the eclipse sun,
Admiration of raindrops consoling lives to cherish the grace of nature as she won her heart.
On a blissful bay flowing with motions of waves,
Is this all that will reach the destiny's palms, will it be welcomed by opened doors unfolding truths that were never confessed infront?
Even though standing alone in one line,
Always finding you in the sky,
The two familiar eyes often admired from the ground,
The soul that walked with thoughts unbound.

So many nights did pass as our stars shined,
So many days did pass by shading mossy grounds that crept behind,
But beauties of the world were found in those distant places,
Flawless and pure, magical and adored, just as morning bays in all its phases.
