A Creation Of Sorts Poem by indira babbellapati

A Creation Of Sorts

Rating: 3.0

It was neither
Monsoon nor winter
Yet the air was filled
With the freshness of
The first rain
It wasn’t even
The beginning of winter
And yet some chillness
Drew them closer...

The heart rained
For the first time
The eyes spread the warmth
The body gleaned into the environs

The mild chillness after the rain
And the warmth thereafter
Of a make-believe world
Within the world known(?)

A counter creation of sorts!
