A Cold Heart Poem by Shelley L Baxter

A Cold Heart

Rating: 4.4

Reckless with Abandon,
scared and showing fright...
There are no horizons
which he wants to see tonight.
Darkness pushes its way
into a heart grown cold,
traces of light no longer gleam...
His fairy tale is no longer lived, or told

You paint a very sad and forlorn picture my friend, but so many suffer in the darkness, some never find the light again. An excellent write Shelley. Melvina
