A Breach Poem by KATOCH P C K PREM

A Breach

A Breach
I try to measure
the width of a space,
and dark depths like a deep burrow
quite belated in life
which frustrate clarity,
I fall into a trap of illusion
cross the crevice by a jump
dive deep to figure out

distance in breathings
on fingertips.

It is a futile endeavour
to shrug off afflictions of a breach
in width and depth of relations;
a modern sickness it is.

These stay inseparable
rooted inside but it worries.
An idea lingers on
that I reached nowhere
from nowhere.

It is time to face
joys or pains that appear quizzing.
Now late in life, thorns look caring
if past is evaluated.

Man carries out adjustments
late in life
thus contented in life next
if any or God wills so.
