A Better Place

Each single, silver strand of hair,
The way you smiled upon your chair,
I'm missing you from head to toe,
Your loving ways, your golden glow,
This heart now broken, I must hold,
Your heart was made of pure gold.
For many Angels walk this land,
I felt this as I held your hand,
I looked upon your peaceful face,
You left us for a better place.
