A Baby's Innocence Poem by Meg Harrison

A Baby's Innocence

The baby will see God's face appear as a vision in the eye
Also a baby hears god’s voice in a lullaby.
Since God is a part of his flesh,
A newborn baby feels love from God that is so fresh
as He is near the baby with each cry.
When the mother picks him up.
He will see her face
And be touched by her arms and fall asleep on her lap,
which is a special place.
Also baby prays that she will feed him so he can grow.
And she will teach him what he needs to know,
So he will learn God made the world because of his presence.
As a child, he will draw God’s face because of baby’s innocence
