A 2 Z Poem by Christine P

A 2 Z

Rating: 5.0

Adam and eve, and then eventually there was me.
Baby plus baby, and that makes three.
Christmas carols and Halloween treats.
Door to door with two little feet.
Every dawn has its day.
Forget me not, is what I say.
God exists, or doe's he not.
Heaven and hell is all we got.
Illinois is my birthplace.
Jog, not run, I lose the race.
Kill me, not you, this some serious blues.
Love heals, love hurts, now pay your dues.
Misery loves company, daughter and I.
Needles and heroin, then we fly.
Open casket or closed, you might have asked…
Police raided the house, they all wore masks.
Questions they had, answers I think not.
Rhyme nor reason, I got what I got.
Salvation does not hide, if you dare seek.
This jail, this world, is not for the weak.
United we stand, and divided we fall.
Victory is mine, now I stand tall.
Will and a way, there's now a new day.
X-cited for me, l dance, I'm ok! .
Yellow, amber, and gold,
is the color of the sky that I know.
Zonked no more,
it's on with the show…..
