5-9-11 Bapor


Lulan ng sasakyang pandagat na pinaralisa ng isang bagyo
Nagdurusa ang mga walang muwang na pasahero
Sa kakulangan at iresponsabilidad kinauukulan
Nagbitak yaring dila't naghilab yaring tiyan!

Mailang ulit binigkas ang pagka-antala
Dialago nila'y tila nasa sirang plaka
Mga tao'y kinapos, sa ganapi'y di handa
sa dalawmpung oras lamang sapat yaring pera

Ngunit makadalawang ulit o higit pa
Sa sasakayang pandagat ay tumira
Di-makatulog sa gabing inindayog
ng nagngangalit na alon, kidlat at kulog

Kinahapuna'y sa wakas ang barko'y lumisan
Tinawid ang dagat ng apoy na bughaw
Sa gitna ng kawalan na nilamon ng karimlan
kapit-tukong nilabanan ang kanyang sayaw

Mga pagkakataong naganap na sumagi
pag-tanggap sa mga maaaring mangyari
Binuksan ang isipan, Tinanggap ang katotohanan
sa huli'y naliwanagan, kasinungalinga'y pinaniwalaan!

Mga ama, kuya, tiyo, at balisang ina
lahat ay mulat, nagrorosaryo na
Katanunga'y iisa ang punto
'katapusan na ba ng aming mundo? '

Dinig ko ang pag-iyak ng mga sanggol
marahil nag-aantay ng tagapagtanggol
sa impyernong muntik naming sapitin
humalik ang lahat ng huling habilin
