.4. Keeping Account Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Keeping Account

Rating: 5.0

Save for your future
And don’t spend a penny
For everyone knows
A pound comes from many

Look after your pennies
Though some call you mean
Then you will be ready
When time’s become lean

Save for the big things
It may take a while
But cash saves you interest
Good reason to smile

Frugal is a good
It gets more for your money
So save for the future
And yours will be sunny

Very wise indeed. But I am a shop-a-holic. Great piece.
