one of these days
I will get up off this chair
step out into the daylight
where events, like birth,
marriage and death,
take place besides on paper,
within pixels or in my head,
things will be different
-I will be different
one of these days
I will take a chance
in white-water rapids, upon
a mountain or in the sky
and see if I could
if I would, should I?
maybe, just maybe
in a day or two,
perhaps
I will be different
one of these days
