3 Girls In The Park Poem by Susan Garfunkel

3 Girls In The Park

3 girls, in the park drinking
beer in the night having fun.
The loudness, the music so loud with so much bass included.
Having such a great silly time

In their silly little stupor:
2 In the morning, so carefree they just carry on.
The smell of alcohol fills the air.
Tonight is to be celebrated.

The older girl laughs and dances
Without any real care at all:
Her long black hair and brown eyes,
She unbuttons her blouse and smiles at us all. She laughs on.
She starts to remove her blouse.
We exchange smiles one by one...

We applaud her after she finishes
Her naked dance:
That was a night to remember.
