.2. Curling Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Curling

Large stones of granite
Slid over the ice
Followed by others
At least once or twice

Handles atop objects of stone
To help lift the granite for hurling
And that’s how the large lumps of granite
Get used in the strange game of curling
