at dawn break

i open the windows on the rear
pale lights from the eastern side of the window pane enter

i stretch my arms and hands
rub my eyes like sands
the cock has crowed
the church bells toll, i bow

it is the paleness of light, the color of sadness
landing slowly like a tiny wind in my emptiness.

Do not be empty, do not be sad. Fill yourself with happiness. Do read the one of my poetry 'curtains'. It is a bit like yours but starts with curtains and the opposite of this poem.
