  • POEM: If I Cry........ by Sameer Ahmed (1/21/2009 11:17:00 AM)

Wow! I absolutly love the imagery in this poem! It gives the reader a strength and independence to overcome the sadness and let it out. A very strong message that says stand on your own feet and be strong. I love it!

  • POEM: Photographs I Never Took by Paul Hansford (1/12/2009 5:56:00 AM)

This is such a meaningful poem! Your mind is your own camera. I'm sorry to say but i like taking pictures, because even though it may be embeded in my mind, somtimes the feeling of the moment is dorment in my mind. When i look at a photograph the feelings return. Besides what i said, I loved your peom! !

    Fallen Angel

Demon of the day, Angel of the night
He is torn between darkness and the light
The path he walks, he walks alone
He travels around, for which he has no home

People fear him as he passes by
He trusts no one, his life was a lie
He walks in an unbearable shame
As he remembers his unforgetable name

His bleeding heart is freezing over
As he watches the eternal night grow older
Wanting his immortal soul to end
As he watches the Northern Lights start to blend

this is an onamatapia(sp?) that I wrote almost 2 years ago.

    Midnight Storm

Pitter patter, pitter patter, hear the rain pour
boom, crash, boom, hear the thunder roar
flash! see the lightning shock the door

Tick tock, tick tock, the clock strikes midnight
Creek, creek, opens the door and on comes the light
It's your mother saying it's alright

'Ooo, ooo, ooo, ' she sings you to sleep
In a dream you are drawn in deep
    And now you fast asleep

Drip drop, drip drop, the storm has moved on
You wake up with a stretch and a yawn
Out comes the sun and now it's dawn
