  • POEM: I Do Not Blame You by Karen GonzalezVidela (8/8/2013 6:36:00 AM)

Karen, I do not normally read too much these days, but your title intrigued me. As I immersed myself in your words at first I thought you were talking about a person. It wasn't until I read your notes at the bottom it became clear. I had recently read the story about Tilikum. You are right in saying it was not the animals fault. With any wild animal you have to hold a degree of caution. No matter how playful a wild animal is, it is and will always be a wild animal. It is a good write and I gave it ten whether that will show up I do not know.
    Hugs David

Lawrence, I couldn't agree with you more. I have been with this site for two years nd it has gone downhill, not up. I have at the moment suspended posting any new poems here indefinitely until they start getting their act together. No quick links, logging in countless times is rather depressive. You write to them, but they don't seem to pay a blind bit of notice to what you are telling them. As you say I can see the good poets finding a decent site to put their work on and leaving here. It is a sad state of affairs to get into. Such is life.

Allie, pass on my regards to Jerry and as for you, slow down a tad yourself. We don't want you getting worn out. It is great news that he is improving. Thanks for letting us know.
Love and Hugs to both of you.
