without working the line breaks, another possible edit: Her lips too lovely to wither. They impacted a part of us, hard to define or worshp. Too good to be dwelling upon, the apples of love stay on the table. They offer themselves- tasty women addicted to stares of night and consequence.
    .
I don't like the title Madame. It seems like a; poem that could have a larger meaning, and that limits it.

This makes me think of the Don Hall quote about self-editing, cutting back. Example: My own clouds form: Roofs are/ slanted opinions/ the right amount of strength. it's gray and hopefully peaceful

I agree with you that this was an injustice.

RIP Bill Knott. He has poems posted here at PH. Many tributes available on the internet if you search Bill Knott Obituary.

I don't know who I am. As my memory worsens, I've been thinking of getting my name tattoed on my body, but I can't decide a proper piece of flesh. I was thinking an inner eyelid so I might be able to alert myself. Perhaps I should change to S.O.S. from S.A.S.? Anyway, i've never had an alias here, but it begins to look like a possibility. Key clues: I'm the old lady wearing hairnets, who starts each line with an exclamation point and only uses adjectives and adverbs. See you at the Possum County Poetry and Scent Gland Exchange.
