How can I send messages to members
|
|
To send messages to any member participating at PoemHunter.Com’s activities like
forum, message board, and what’s this, and sending commentaries on poems, click
on the member’s nickname. A message box will appear. Fill in this message box to
write private messages to the "MEMBER".
You will not be able to see the email address of the member you are sending messages.
(You may not see it unless the member writes its email address in a private message.)
Likewise, the recipient will also not be able to see your email address, but will
see your nickname.
An automatic invitation email is sent to the recipient to remind him to read your
message. When the recipient receives this email, he or she logs in to our site with
his username and password and reads your message to him and posts a reply if he
or she wishes to.
This process will ensure that the details such as email addresses of both you and
the recipient will be secure.

MYFRIENDS

When joining in activities or exchanging messages, you can add some members you’re
your private "MyFriends"
list and reach them easier.
Moreover, you can prevent those persons not included in your MyFriends list to send you messages by changing your settings
in MyProfile page.

Your details are 100% secure regardless of your level of participation to MemberClub
activities. Every day, you may be receiving tens of messages via web and you may
be sending them messages. In this traffic, no Poemhunter.com member will see your
private details like your e-mail address.
If you don’t want to get messages from members:
If you don’t want to get messages from MemberClub members, go to MyProfile page
and change your settings.
Here, you will see three options to write messages:
- All Members: When you choose this option, all PoemHunter.com members will
be allowed to send you messages.
- My Friends Only: When you choose this option, only those persons in your
MyFriends list will be allowed to send you messages, while others will not be allowed
to do the same.
- Nobody: When you choose this option, no Poemhunter.com member will be allowed
to send you messages.
Please consider that:
whatever your option is, a person to whom you have sent a message shall in all cases
be allowed to send you a new message.
