The day I met him, I was smitten.
I honestly can say I haven’t felt like that towards anyone at first glance.
The day I met him, I had a mission.
To make him mine, if only I could somehow rewind.
The day I met him, I didn’t really know much about him. If I knew what I know now, what would be different?
The day I met him, I was oblivious.
Something wasn’t right past those light green eyes.
From the day I met him, I knew it was too good to be true.
My heart told me to go for it, but my head knew better and told me to save the pain.
    I listened to my heart.
The day I met him, I didn’t realize all the distress he would eventually cause me.
From the day I met him, I thought he was a flawless gift from above.
But did I mistake the direction?
Finally, I found out what wasn’t right past those light green eyes.
The day I met him, I did not know someone like this was capable of doing this to me.
I gave him something no one in the world can ever have, and he took it and left.
From the day I met him, I always knew things weren’t right, but I let myself shatter.
Now the thought of me being unlovable will always haunt my mind.
All from, the day I met you.

    Why Flower blooms?

    A bud flourishes to flower.
Perhaps, to fill a little joy
    Momentary yet pure peace
    In tiny heart of human.

    But, How crazy creatures!
    Fail to fathom the nature.
    Enlarge their vicious hands
    To smash soft pulpy petals.

If it is fate of flower,
    Then, why flower blooms?

    It is a misery I can't unfold
    Of all seasons.......
Why was I born during the dry season,
    When all things had crumbled?
Why was I born at the age of depression?
Why was I born in the slum?
Why was i born at the age of war?
Why was I born at the age of penury?
Why was I born at the age of a dark cloud,
    when light was invisible?
    Who will I ask?
Behold! The cloud is silent to my questions
Why was I not born in a comfort season?
when the green pasture sprint forth
    to make a beautiful city...

It was a season of despise
    A season of shame
It was a season when all had crumbled
A season when there was nothing to eat,
then you've to sit like a watching dog at the feet of Neighbors
It was a season where hardness became a name
Known to be the the poorest
A season when there was no light under the roof
A season that cause the wind to blow,
    in which all was lost

    What shall we say?
That I was an evil child
    that brought nothing but sorry?
Or fate was not fair to me?
Or I was born at a wrong season?

    This is the misery!
Though I was born at dry season
    But dryness was't born in me;
I was born at the age of depression
But depression wasn't born in me,
I was born in the slum at an unknown hour of the day
But slum was never born in me
    I was born in penury
But penury wasn't born in me
I discover that yesterday was my past
In my past lies my mine
In my mine lies my gold
    Though the fire was hot,
But it burns through me and I became a pure shining

I have written 60 biblical poems & songs, some quite long, For me having truth in rhyme adds to its power, humor can a little more, so I wonder what the contest involves

Many goes silence before her brownish eye
From there, many a heart melted
    Of wise one, innocent one
    Ah! And many a masculine

In shape, her calm body evokes pleasure
Many a man try to swim like fish in the water
    She foreboding, Rejected many
And to her pure delight, chosen one with colors of rainbow.

Roars the cloudy sky to rain
Eagles in nest, lions in den.
    All take shelter in fear
Of being wet in muddy water.
    Non but the peahen
    So bravely comes in plain
    Spreading tail over the brain.

    Oh! Hear her shrill delight
    Among horrible thunder, light.
    Always ready to fight
    Against every evil sight
    Of the dreadful stormy day.
    About her non-stop bold play,
No word I find to say.

    Song of Seasons

    When my face turns pale
Blood comes out as sweat from cell,
    She extends a heavenly hand
To ‘Autumn Azure’ over sea sand,
Making me smile with stunning scene
    How calm! How serene!
    My body becomes pristine.

When I fear in scary night
    Within four walls without light,
    East windows she opens
    Evil ebbs as day dawns.
    In appearance of ‘Summer Sun’
    What power! What living burn!
Makes me bold warrior of morn.

    When my heart gets hurt
Tears brim in eyes with regret.
    She stops flying cloud
    Sparks lightning, then thunder sound.
    But never halts ‘Rainy River’
    So patient! How flows further!
Says me to stay unruffled forever.

When my conscience clashes with mind
How cool! She invites ‘Winter Wind’
To freeze all my rage and lust.
To free squalor from my chest.
    Also she calls ‘Spring Sparrow’
So sweet! Its chirps alleviate my sorrow.
So this song emerges from my Marrow.

    Assurance of Heaven

    One day!
    Kismet will kiss you,
    Hope will hug you.
    Hunger, thirst, pain
    All ordeal will be overcome.
    Also time will take
    Pride in your prize.
    While sleeping, as blanket
    Bliss will warm you.
    Love will come
    To make you hear lullaby.

    Oh! Children of heaven,
    Do not despair;
    Rather keep on dreaming
    Without losing trust in self.
    So hang on trying,
    With heart and soul.

    As the tear of Time
    Trickled down the
    Face of Life
    I saw a Moment
    Roll down its cheek.

    A moment made of
    Millions of minute
    Myriad spells.
    A moment tinted with
    Colourful colors.

    A moment that lay
    Bare and throbbed
    Wild and chained
    Panted and gasped
    Sobbed and gurgled.

    A moment that was
    Dark and luminous
    Parched and quenched
    Tender and strong
    Pain and joy.

    A moment
    Circled with a halo
    Gathered me in its radiance
    To feel eternity.
    A moment
    That infused awe
    And a pleasurable dread
A moment of ecstasy in pain
    A moment of utter worship
    A moment that never slept
    A moment that lay awake.
    A moment called Love
