Who told the moon to sink?
That dark beauty vanquished,
The End of something not yet formed,
Alas, the lightest moments are in the dark,
When the shadows form misty lamps,
And you-my midnight sun-radiate,
And I-the darkest shadow-absorb your glare,
Too soon the reality returns and dreams fade,
My dream, my aching bliss, that weighs me down,
Always approaching the end of what never was,
And never could be.

I thought I wanted to be a writer, I thought I wanted to use words to acquire emotion,
But I don’t wear turtle necks; I don’t wear a watch, seems writers have class.
I haven’t suffered enough yet, but I have them fooled, I can sing the song of the sad man, the song of the mad man.
Work takes all creativity out of a man; he’s left with nothing left but a muted mind, and an empty stomach. You turn in your precious minuets of the only life you will ever get, for paper and metal that goes just as fast as the seconds of the only life you will ever get, but we do it, we want to do it!
We do it for the shit we don’t need, like turtle necks, and gold watches, we do it for the class.

Joyous rain falls descendant upon my sorrow, Oh that joyous rain!
Returns to me sweet reminiscing memories of my goddesses mirthful all my solitude and pain
As years had passed, so had my vigorous love, beith once for mirth; yet her foreboding left me in cluttering vain
The action it lead me into was nothing more than a piteous pouring pit of that glorious joyous rain!
In all of which my soul shalt claim, whilst I stand in this striking rains all of the memories of that one of mirth
In time mayhaps I retrieve that grasp of thought, or that peace leading me to ease and perhaps meeting her shall give me rebirth
Yet in all of my doubt, and all of my forlorn insomnia, each and every day I wear a necklace with an attached flask while I traverse this earth
Within the interior of the flask lie the memories in formal tears of all of these years she has made cause to be away, ah, yea, tis my attached curse
And in her absence and in this flask of sorrow revolves me into an involuntary depression, and as she runs from me my heart rides along on this invisible hearse
At moments end, the reappearance of mirth may surely Come on a day I possess old age and a time where perhaps I am sane
Though one thing is for sure, Oh that mirth and how I know that on that day shall be loves promised day, vow and ever falling upon me surely shall be joyous rain!

Hi There Lovely Poets: -)
I wrote this poem about my babies and would love to know what you think. Too sappy?
Mother Of Light
You started as a droplet inside a shell,
Warm, languid, liquid.
Now that safe harbour,
Has turned you into a sea.
To create you, every wonderful thing I've thought,
Every ray of light I've ever seen,
Was harnessed in that single drop.
To nourish...to divide,
Cell by cell
Pouring forward from me,
Toward my ultimate worth.
I didn't know it,
But until that point,
My world had been flat.
You helped me peek over the edge,
We looked into an unfolding universe,
Then you jumped with me!
A galaxy of light and giggles
Radiated through me,
To get to you.
Spirit and Soul,
Light and Hope.
You are so much more
Than an extension
Of my heart or limb.
I am, because of you.
You are, because of me.
Forever bundled in love,
I get to be your Mother.

Hi, I just joined the site and have put 7 poems up so far. When I look on 'Manage my Poems' it says that only three of them are 'online'. Does anyone know what this means? Please read, vote and comment and my poems, it will be much appreciated! I recommend reading 'Teddy Bear'. Thankyou ever so much. I will definitely check out the poems of anyone who comments on mine. :)
