Following my visit to the men who intend to mess about with my gall bladder
A Brief Note For My Surgeons

When you delve deep in my
Come cut me!
Slice me as you will.
Let those voracious scalpels
drink their fill.
But please remember
when you've done the deed
to put back any organs I still need
For this one small advice I must impart
A poet cannot write without a heart.
