    Sentinel Literary Quarterly Poetry Competition

    Closing Date: 31st August,2014.
    Prizes: £200 (First) , £75 (Second) , £50 (Third) , £20 x 3 (High Commendation) .
    The winners and commended poems will receive first publication in Sentinel Literary Quarterly magazine.
    Fees: £4/1, £7/2, £9/3, £11/ 4, £12/5, £16/7, and £22 for 10 poems.
    For original, previously unpublished poems in English Language, on any subject, in any style up to 50 lines long. This competition is open to all poets regardless of nationality, living anywhere in the world. Judge: Will Daunt.

    Winning Writers is pleased to announce the results from its 13th annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest. Simon Hendrie of Cape Town, South Africa won first prize and $1,000 for his comedic poem, " What Will You Say When Your Child Asks: 'Why Didn't You invest in Eastern Poland?'" A record 4,484 contestants competed from around the world.
