A prize of $1,000 and publication by Les Figues Press is given annually for an innovative book of poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction. Cross-genre collections are also eligible. Fanny Howe will judge. Using the online submission system, submit a manuscript of 62 to 250 pages with a $25 entry fee, which includes a book from the Les Figues Press catalogue, by September 15. The 25th Annual Reuben Rose Poetry Competition
Ten honorable mentions are awarded. Prizewinners and all honorable mentions will be published in the Voices Israel 2015 Poetry Anthology.
Poems should be unpublished.
Entries may deal with any topic.
- Focus need not be Jewish or Israeli
- Challenging, humorous and/or eccentric poetry is welcome but typographical tricks are discouraged.
Maximum length is 40 lines, including stanza breaks but not including title.
Poems are judged without the poets' names.

Ealing Autumn Festival Poetry Competition 2014
Adjudicator: George Szirtes. Winners will be announced at the Festival event on October 21st 7.30pm at Drayton Court Hotel,2 The Avenue, Ealing, London W13 8PH. Winners will be invited to read their poems. Winning poems will be published on the Festival website.
