    Envoi International Open Poetry Competitions

    Deadline for submissions – 20th February,20th June and 20th October each year.
    Prizes: 1st prize £150,2nd prize £100,3rd prize £50.
    Each winner and three runners up win a complimentary copy with their poem.
    The three runners up are also awarded an annual subscription worth £15.
    Entry fee: £3 per poem or five poems for £12.
    Poems can be in any style, on any theme up to 40 lines.

    The Poetry Kit Poetry Competition

    Prizes: The prize is publication on the front page of Poetry Kit where it will be seen by the 10 thousand visitors we have each day, there will also be a few other goodies to show our thanks, but no cash prize.
    There is no set fee to enter but there is a catch!
    There will be six competitions over the year, each one of two months duration.
    Entry fee: Donation to the Liverpool Methodist Youth Exchange programme.

    Flash 500 Humour Verse Competition

    Closing date: This competition is run quarterly with closing dates of 31st March,30th June,30th September,31st December.
    Prizes: First: £150, £100, £50
    Entry fee: £3 for the first poem, then £2.50 for each poem thereafter
    Line Length: Up to 30 lines. The results will be announced within six weeks of the closing date and the three winning entries will be published on the website.

    Dream Quest One Poetry & Writing Contest

    Closing dates: (Semi-annual) July 31st and December 31st, each year
    Prizes: Writing Contest First Prize is $500. Second Prize: $250. Third Prize: $100.
    Poetry Contest First Prize is $250. Second Prize: $125. Third Prize: $50.
    Entry fees: $5(USD) per poem, $10(USD) per short story

    Guidelines: The Dream Quest One Poetry & Writing Contest is open to anyone who loves expressing innermost thoughts and feelings into the beautiful art of poetry or writing a short story that is worth telling everyone! And to all who have the ability to dream. Write a poem, thirty lines or fewer on any subject, style, or form, typed or neatly hand printed. And/or write a short story, five pages maximum length, on any subject or theme, creative writing fiction or non-fiction (including essay compositions, diary, journal entries and screenwriting) . Also, must be typed or neatly hand printed.
    Multiple poetry and short story entries are accepted.

    Sentinel Short Story and Poetry Quarterly Competition

    Closing dates: 31st Dec,31st March,30th June
    Prizes: £150, £75, £50, three £10 Highly Commendeds in both categories
    Entry fee: short stories, £5, £8 for two, £10 for three, £12 for four; poems, £4; £7 for two, £9 for three, £11 for four, £12 for five.
    The competition is for short stories, up to 1,500 words, and poems up to 50 lines

    SKIPTON LIBRARY POETRY COMPETITION 2014

    For poems of up to 40 lines on any subject. 1st prize £100,2nd prize £50,3rd prize £25,5 prizes £10 each,5 Highly commended. Closing date 26 September
    Entry fee £2 per poem. Adjudicator Isobel Thrilling and one other to be appointed.
    Poem to be typed on single sheet of A4 in single spacing, enclose separate sheet with your contact details, name, address, email, telephone number.

    The 25th Annual Reuben Rose Poetry Competition

    Ten honorable mentions are awarded. Prizewinners and all honorable mentions will be published in the Voices Israel 2015 Poetry Anthology.
    Poems should be unpublished.
    Entries may deal with any topic.
    - Focus need not be Jewish or Israeli
    - Challenging, humorous and/or eccentric poetry is welcome but typographical tricks are discouraged.
    Maximum length is 40 lines, including stanza breaks but not including title.
    Poems are judged without the poets' names.
    Submission period: Entries no later than September 15th,2014.

    Ealing Autumn Festival Poetry Competition 2014
