I am thrilled to have been nominated for an award for my poetry! I would love it if you were to vote for me and so help to inspire other poets! Purposefully, my pen takes flight,
Of it's own volition, sense of mission, does write,
Powerful, passionate, propelled to go,
As with women who inspire women, in magnificence, in their flow.
There is no time to stop and think,
Waste opportunities, let them sink
In murky depths, without trace.
Instead, with pride, I stand up and face,
This opportunity to present,
The gift of poetry; with which I am meant
To send out messages, clear and strong,
That women, in the lime light, most surely do belong,
With true sharing of their gifts; once unveiled,
Reveal for all our sisters, new heights, which truly can be scaled!


Inspired in other women, nomination for this author award,
I feel that my silence, would be untoward,
And so, with great honour, I boldly request your vote,
The chance to inspire others, help them, through me, to promote,
How we as women, our talents unfurled,
Grasp opportunities to lead, and positively change this world.
