    A prize of £5,000 (approximately $8,429) and publication in Poetry Review is given annually for a poem. The winner is also invited to read at the Ledbury Poetry Festival in the U.K. A second-place prize of £2,000 (approximately $3,372) and a third-place prize of £1,000 (approximately $1,686) are also given. Poets from any country are eligible. Roddy Lumsden, Glyn Maxwell, and Zoë Skoulding will judge.     Grants of up to $3,000 are given twice yearly to allow Minnesota writers to take advantage of a specific arts opportunity. Poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers who are U.S. citizens and have lived in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, or St. Louis counties in northeastern Minnesota for at least six months are eligible. Submit a work sample of up to 15 pages of poetry or prose, a description of the work sample, a description of the opportunity or project, and a résumé by October 31. There is no entry fee.
