Hi everyone, Just thought I'd say that I never read many poems until my granddaughter who is 10 needs to read poetry as an assignment in school and that's how I came to the Poemhunter site to try and help her. I have never written any poems in my life but found it to be very satisfying to actually write a few, now I feel like emersing myself in words. I always thought that poetry had to rhyme but after reading several from other poets I find that freeform is very intense. But I hope you enjoy mine as I continue to evolve. Thanks. Ron

Ronald, WELCOME...., you'll also find that some 'so-called' poems make no sense, are not punctuated properly, lack rhythm and contain spelling errors. There seems to be no rules here, we all utilize 'poetic license'...! ! ! Good luck...! ! ! Regards, Trade.
