I am looking for a poem that was given to a mother when her baby died in the hospital. It was a poem about why children die. I only remember the first line which starts: 'When God Takes little children into his fold.............
And the last line: 'Angels are hard to find'. I don't remember the rest. Hopefully, some one may know this poem if they have lost a child or work in a hospital settig. Thanks, ems

I know this posting was from a very long time ago, and I don't know if you ever got a reply to it or not. Or if you ever found the poem. But, my little sister died from SIDS and that poem was on a card given to us. The author is unknown but here is the poem:
When God calls little children to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love,
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild,
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud before it can grow old,
God knows how much we need them,
So he takes but a few,
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view,
    Believing this is difficult,
    Still somehow we must try,
    The saddest word mankind knows,
    Will always be 'goodbye',
So when a little child departs,
    We who are left behind,
    Must realize God loves children,
    Angles are hard to find.
