    This is a site for lovers of poetry, not necessarily of scholars. Submitting your work is equitable to going on So You Think You Can Dance; the talented AND most well-liked dancer usually wins, not necessarily the dancer with the best technique of all the contestants. Essentially, it IS a popularity contest. If you want to " win" based on depth and scholarly poeticism, I suggest you take courses at a college or university in poetry or creative writing or major in Creative Writing, and you will get the sort of feedback you seem to be seeking. Surely, you realized that before submitting your poem anyway.
