Why did I chose him? 
Why not you? 
The love of my heart, the love of my soul.
If only you knew.
My heart aches for you...
My heart aches for the choices I have made.

Why did I chose him? 
What could have been? 
I'll never know.
Love forever lost, love forever gone, 
floating deep inside, but never put into action.
I made a choice, now I suffer the fate.

Though it feels as though hell's gate is closing in
I must not let go...
I'll never know what it is to feel you close, 
your arms around me holding me tight...
to close my eyes and feel us together as one...

Why? 
I suppose I culd blame it on youth, 
stupid choices, hopeless feelings, 
But I knew my heart would forever hold you close.
I knew I loved you, from the day we met.

Was it loneliness at it's worst? 
Was it fear of being over looked? 
Passed by? 
Maybe rejection?

Why must I live a lie?
