I wrote this poem decades ago, in response to loved ones questioning whether I had ambition, since the jobs I chose, they believed were too menial for me. I have edited it many times to fit different situations, the same way Elton John edited his Candle In The Wind song for Marilyn Monroe, to fit Princess Di. I think I'll now re-title it from Just Don't Give Us 9-5 to:
I protest that we're lazy
