Richard Wlodarski Biography

Richard Wlodarski deftly blends spirituality with current events to paint a starkly disturbing, yet surprisingly optimistic, view of the world.

Writing poetry is used as a therapeutic tool to transcend his grief. He inspires us to look for the light in even the most desperate situations.

Wlodarski draws on his unique understanding of the link between the conscious and subconscious mind. Hence, his spiritual poetry hits you in both the gut and the heart.

Wlodarski is working every day on his magnum opus, The Kerouac Venture. Consisting of 14 books (thus far) , it's a labour of love about the spirituality of Jack Kerouac. Each book consists of poems that are delving deeper and deeper into Kerouac's psyche.

The first book, Kerouac In Spirit, is now available on Amazon. It's very dear to Wlodarski's heart because he worked closely with his mentor Daniel Brick in keeping Kerouac's spirit alive. Brick provides very insightful commentary on several of the poems. That process is an invaluable addition to this very unique book of poetry.
