Jessie Rey Benipayo pen name, Rey Benipayo is Bicolano, Ligaoeno poet, writter, blogger and a Frontliner. He was born in Guinobatan Albay on September 20,1987. Son of Jesusa Circe Pallan and Reynalfo Samaniego Benipayo. Brother of Jessie Rey Ignacious Benipayo, Regine Salud Benipayo and Mae Sherylla Benipayo. He lives most of his life in Ligao. He writes some memorable short stories such as; 'Alamat ng Pagiging Magbest friend Natin' 'Alamat ng Kawa Kawa' 'Bawal Umihi Dito' and 'Ghost of Kawa Kawa'
