Rahmat Aziz Khan is an International Innovation Laureate(Germany) , Linguist, Poet, Author, Translator, Researcher, Inventor and Scientist who invented the world’s unique linguistic software(Multilanguage Text Editor) that can be used to type in as many as 40 languages of Pakistan at a single plateform free of cost. Nazriya Pakistan Council Islamabad awarded him Dr.Abdul Qadeer Khan Gold Medal & Award 2015 in recognition of his meritorious services in technological advancement. Rahmat Aziz Khan has another feather in his cap is that he has translated Dr.Allama Iqbal’s books namely Bange-e-Dara, Bal-e-Jibreel, Zarb-e-Kaleem and Armughan-e-Hija into Khowar language and has done their versified translations, carrying Iqbal’s message and popularity accorss the barriers of languages. Khowar language is spoken in Chitral, Swat, Gilgit Baltistan, Sheghnan(Afghanistan) and Xingjiang(China) .
He has already been awarded many international awards, gold medals, recognitions on excellent performance, contribution and dedicated works towards linguistics. He continues to pursue his activities in linguistics and literary works for mother languages and is a source of inspiration for younger generations. Rehmat Aziz Khan has two gold medals in his credits for his invention. He has also been awarded pride of the Nation Gold Medal and Dr.A.Q.Khan Gold Medals for his outstanding work towards languages and in the field of science and technology and linguistics.

Rahmat Aziz Khan has been one of the most consistent and polular writers and researchers in the field of linguistics and Iqbal Studies in Chitral. He has participated in the United Nations Youth Forum on behalf of Pakistan. He has worked as voice over artist in the first ever khowar environmental film namely Markhoor. The eye catching versified Khowar Language Translation of Dr Allama Iqbal’s poetry is another valuable contribution of Rahmat Aziz which earned him a lot of fame and appreciation. Presently he is working on translation of Holy Quran into Khowar Language. Chitrali Grammer, Khowar Qaida, Guldan-e-Rahmat, Guldast-e-Rahmat and many other books are his precious contributions to Khowar Language.
In spite of the region’s struggles with remoteness and security tensions, Rahmat has continued to? promote the Khowar language and its development along with the other 13 languages spoken in? Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan areas in Pakistan.

Rahmat Aziz Khan is also campaigning for action and mobilizing for peace through his khowar language poetry.
