White On White

There used to be days
days of full canvases
canvases filled with colour
colours of the wind and sun and air.

air to breath to be used
used to be days were fair and full of love
love was in the air fresh and new
new days full of painted sunsets glorious dawns.

dawns a sad sullen new age
age of blank white desert canvases
canvases that show the emptiness of days
day that have no meaning.

meaning less and less
less days full of canvases
