When Two Trees Grow Side By Side. Poem by SY Wong ...

When Two Trees Grow Side By Side.

Friends;

Green friends

These two green friends may not be friends forever
because when the wind blows one might stumble.

Growing side by side they seem happy together.

They have no limit to chats; Talking to each other all the time.
I don't know how they communicate.
I only know they do.

They do quarrel when their leaves brush against each other
Thanks God, in a small space they are flourishing.

Can you see the tiny lemon?
One is call Lemon tree
The other is 'Kafir' lime tree. (Good for Tom Yum) .

I hope they can live together and bear fruits, but
when they did quarrel, I 'll trim off their trouble some leaves
So, side by side they'd live
Since I planted them together
They acknowledge that I am their master!
