When I Am Understanding Myself Poem by Satish Verma

When I Am Understanding Myself

My eyes are shut,
your lips are sealed. Our nemesis is
same. You are formless. I try to touch you.

Being monotheist I
want to disappear to become footprints
of unbroken faith. Universal eyes?

There were few minds
to follow me. There was a question
creating turmoil. Why life ends?

2. The crux of the issue is, we, none of us, understand ourselves. We try. Yes, we do try! People from eons ago tried. But we fail, miserably

Hi Satish, the question is NOT " Why life ends? " for, everything that has a beginning has to have an end. The question, barely, is why at all there IS life? Why at all a human being? Why did we eat The Magic Mushroom?
