Welcome To My Church Poem by Randy McClave

Welcome To My Church

Welcome to my church
I'm glad to see you all here,
Sit down and listen to the word;
I am near.
Welcome this Wednesday
Come in and grab some food to eat,
But, first let's say a prayer
Then enjoy your meal with others that you meet.
When your belly is full
Please join me in the sanctuary,
And hear the word that is preached
Then you're soul won't feel stationary.
I listen to every prayer
I've heard everyone of them prayed,
I enjoy your faith and your devotion
And the love and joy that is displayed.
Come back to church this Sunday
And listen to my words once again,
It will lift your soul and your spirit
And don't forget the, "Amen".
Don't ever forget to pray
And please stand up and sing a hymn,
It brings joy to the soul and to the heart
When praises are spoken and sung by them.
Whenever you come into my home
When you're sitting on the chair or on the pew,
I am there still listening
Because, I am there sitting next to you.
