Watermelons Poem by Rob Lamberton

Watermelons

Rating: 5.0

Soft dew wells water my garden
Certainly there is no doubt
Bright flower must bloom
Gold honey flows out
Sweet dew wells water my garden

My garden is lush with berries
Fragrance a hint of red melon
Purple flower consume
As sure as the sun
My garden is lush full of berry

White rain falls so wet on my garden
No doubt the waters will flow
Red fruit must be eaten
Until it's wells sweeten
My garden is certain to grow

Bright sun shine on my garden
Lush leaves seek gathering light
Vines entwine throbs firm hold
Cucumber peek twin mountain speak
Sweet honey erupts molten gold

Thick dew wells water my garden
Fertile fresh valley below
Abundant as air blowing so fair
True skin of thick tuber below
Earth quakes such harvests share

The abundance in the garden lies in generous water, sunlight and care we put. A beautiful garden is painted on the canvas of this wonderful poem. Great play on words.
